Newcastle Council in association with  hiwecanhelp announce the launch of our exciting campaign designed by and for young people on Novel Psychoactive Substances (NPS).  The ‘Legal Fails’ campaign is the result of partnership work between, Newcastle Council, hiwecanhelp, Newcastle College, Your Homes Newcastle, DnA Young People’s Services and the Foyer housing Newcastle.

The campaign was launched by Councillor Jane Streather, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Housing.

The North East Ambulance Service and emergency services have responded to increasing demand as a result of NPS use in the Region. The Legal Fails Campaign provides positive advice, information and practical support for anyone using these drugs. All the campaign materials are available on both www.hiwecanhelp.com site designed for people over the ago of 18) and www.LegalFails.com a stand alone site for young people to access materials and support.
